Deuteronomy 32.15 But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked;
You grew fat, you grew thick,
You are obese!
Then he forsook God who made him,
And scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
Hebrews 2.1-3 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Rom 10:6
But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down [from above])
Rom 10:7
or, ” ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
Rom 10:8
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
Rom 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1Cr 1:26
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called].
1Cr 1:27
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
1Cr 1:28
and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
1Cr 1:29
that no flesh should glory in His presence.

Jud 1:8
Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.
Jud 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
Jud 1:10
But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.

Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving [only] themselves. [They are] clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;
Jud 1:13
raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Jud 1:14
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Jud 1:15
to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Jud 1:16
These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling [words], flattering people to gain advantage.
Jud 1:17
But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Jud 1:18
how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
Jud 1:19
These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
Jud 1:20
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Jud 1:21
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jud 1:22
And on some have compassion, making a distinction;
Jud 1:23
but others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Jud 1:24
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present [you] faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
Jud 1:25
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, [Be] glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

Pro 23:1
When you sit down to eat with a ruler, Consider carefully what [is] before you;
Pro 23:2
And put a knife to your throat If you [are] a man given to appetite.
Pro 23:3
Do not desire his delicacies, For they [are] deceptive food.

Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!

Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
