whether you realize it or not, we’re all in desperate need of God’s supernatural supply…now hear faith >>
God is glorified when miracles occur…. and faith is established. Nowhere do miracles occur to “prove somebody” but rather to draw others to the kingdom.
I pray to be that person that God can use.
as for whether there is a proof to be made of our ministry or not, check this out:
acts 2.22 “You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know…”
Paul said similar things about himself, and held that humanly impossible standard out for others.
what’s amazing is that God wants that for us more than we want it for ourselves. yet he sets it up in a way where we’re supposed to come banging on his door with boldness in the middle of the night asking loudly, not worried at all about protocol or people’s opinions, ready to wake up the whole house up to get what we need – to give to those who need it.
it’s almost like he models and personifies and describes and illustrates the supernatural for us, then holds it out and says, “do you really want it?? then come take it.” the kingdom of heaven truly does allow violence here. no one just stumbles their way into functioning like this.
the reason i post this is so that God can stir up faith in those who hear it – faith that would say, “I’ve got to have that no matter what it takes.”
