Enoch got to walk with God, so much that God took him out of the earthly realm altogether. God called Abraham out with: “Walk before me and be perfect.” Then Moses got called over into a holy place, a raw exposed consecrated place of hearing directly from God, and calling the people of Israel out of the slavery of Egypt. Forty-two years later Joshua directed the priests to carry the Ark (visual proof to Israel that the presence of God was among them), and walk right into the Jordan River – the uncrossable obstacle between them and their inheritance.

There is such a call of God on your life right now – such an opportunity to step out of the boat of what is humanly possible, such a powerful directive to “Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh,” to “Keep in step with the Spirit.” Feet that stand before the holiness and the presence and the fire of God are equipped to go everywhere with the good news of the kingdom of God.
