God’s counsel is so valuable..
Proverbs 19.21 There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.
Matthew 7.24-25 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
Isaiah 55.8-11 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,†says the LORD.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

1 Corinthians 2.9-13 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.â€
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
yes, this is of great value. i pray when we read these words, we yield to the Lord. He speaking directly to us, His people. His sons, His daughters. i hope we do not say to ourselves “Yes! The world needs the Lord’s counsel!”… That is true, but we, the church, also need the Lord’s counsel. Let Him speak directly to YOU on this matter. And thank you bro for posting this.
