God is so near! He’s not at all aloof or distant or removed – in fact everything he’s done for us, he’s done to get close to us. He is present, he’s right there for you at all times, especially in times of trouble. He always answers a sincere undoubting call for wisdom.

He knows every last detail of our lives, down to the number of the hairs of our heads. It is no exaggeration that in him we live and move and have our being! There is such a deep connected life of his friendship wide open to us. Even God’s own personal thoughts are available to us by the Spirit…he wants to share everything with us.

The best part is that he has drawn near totally out of love. And he has sworn that there is nothing in all heaven and earth that can separate us from this love. If anything is making you feel distant or separated from God, right now the comfort of the Holy Spirit overwhelms you and gives you peace. If he points out anything getting in the way of being with him, just confess it. He completely removes sin and the separation of sin the moment you speak out sincerely.
