We've had centuries on centuries of people talking about that figuratively - what if we started living for that to be literally fulfilled?? What if we had the kind of unquenchable thirst for God that Moses had when he begged God to have mercy on him and show him his face? Thank you Lord that that kind of faith is rising up in your people now!

We have a superior covenant with the Most High. I think that what happens however is that we become scared, much like the nation of Israel does. We see the mountain billowing smoke and unlike Moses that says that he will go up, we urge another to take our place or we see someone else working to expand the Kingdom of God and imagine that it is enough. We become comfortable rather than taking action and pressing in. We had food and shelter back in Egypt, rather than recognizing the Cloud and the Pillar of Fire and the manna from heaven, the miracle that is taking place. Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. By faith we must forsake the world, the wrath AND acceptance of man. It is in the impossible that we see him who is invisible. It is in the impossible that we see the work of the Most High. But it comes through faith. We must first make the choice of faith in longing, as Paul puts in in Hebrews 11:26, for the eternal treasure rather than taking part in sin for a short time. Moses sought the eternal reward rather than the tangible, earthly reward. We must do the same and at the cost of everything. It must be the foremost thought upon our hearts and minds. And what is our treasure? Our treasure is Jesus himself. Absolutely.
