Matthew 5.14-16 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
2 Corinthians 3.2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
Acts 26.26 For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner.
Matthew 10.26-27 Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

stealth is overrated…the time is short…say it loud…live it louder
I’ve been growing in my boldness and it’s awesome, but what’s sad and disheartening is to tell an awesome story of a miracle and not even get a response…from the person that’s sitting across from you. It’s almost as if they can’t even respond. I mean, even being angry would be something, but when they don’t even respond?
Its All TRUE!
The sower sows the seed - that’s your responsibility. It’s just like when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you find yourself commanding someone paralyzed in a wheelchair to stand to their feet. You just be faithful in declaring what Father puts in your heart, in your mouth - then the results are Father’s department. He performs the work.
Don’t let people’s reactions affect your confidence one bit. As God told young Jeremiah over and over, “don’t be afraid of their faces.” Speak as the oracles of God. Proclaim the miracle of salvation that only God can work, and then stand back and let him work it. And don’t take one ounce of the credit or the criticism.
Look at the rest of the 2 Corinthians 4 passage:
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord…
Remember this, what you bind on earth is bound in heaven and what you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. You have authority in Christ to tell people their sins are forgiven, and you have authority to bind the mind-blinding spirits that try to veil the hearts of those who hear the Word you speak. You have authority to cast down every proud thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. You have received mercy, so you can appeal to God for mercy for those you speak the Word to. You’ve got an arsenal at your disposal you’ve barely tapped into!
Above all, don’t let anything rob you of your joy, or steal your confidence, or shatter your heart. You have know idea how proud of you your Father in heaven is when you brag on Jesus and all he’s done >>
Then with that. I praise God that a seed was planted. and I pray that it may bear fruit.
btw i’ve run into that same response. people have 2 choices - get over-the-top happy at what God is doing, or malfunction.
…”i’ve never seen anything like that” or “that’s weird” or “i don’t believe that’s possible” etc. runs through their heads so loud they cannot process the simple beautiful amazing good news that God is at work right in the middle of us! i love reading the gospels & seeing how the people are constantly amazed at Jesus, while the religious elite keep finding religious ways to write him off.
bottom line: if they believed Jesus’ word/work, they’ll believe yours. if they hated Jesus’ word/work, they’ll hate yours. 2 sides of the same coin. either way you get to be hid in Christ >>
awesome discussion/edification/preachin’/teachin’/sharin’ going on in here! i love it and it always keeps my perspective correct; CHRIST is everything! thx to all!
