In order to better understand these mysterious photos, you may consider seeing the film "Burnt by the Sun". (from wiki -) "The title derives from a popular 1930s song composed by Jerzy Petersburski. Originally the Polish tango Ta ostatnia niedziela, it became popular in the Soviet Union with the new Russian lyrics as Утомлённое солнце (Utomlyonnoye solntse, Weary Sun) and later was performed by Leonid Utyosov. The title also refers to a mysterious orb of light that appears at various points in the film; the film states at the end that it is dedicated to those "burnt by the sun" of the Revolution ("weary with the sun" in the Russian title)."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burnt_by_the_Sun

During these photos, our friends may well have been performing a melody very similar to the "Ta ostatnia niedziela in F sharp". What we have in these photos is documentation of a rarely observed phenomena as obscurely portrayed in the aforementioned film, and described in this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_lightning

It is indeed the F# language. This is because Sturdy Jive required both sequence expressions and native support for tuples.

And in another, more accurate sense, the bass guitar was tuned to open E tuning to match the lead guitars. Well, really, to match the lead guitar pedals.

I think I still have that shirt. It was a gift from Glen roughly 18 years ago. The computer clip art is worthy of an album cover in its own right.
