Discouragement does more to drain you of faith than all the lust pride envy or anger the devil could ever throw at you. It’s the slow leak that sets you up for the big fall. But not anymore..
2008 is all set to be the year discouragement died in your life - God has nothing but encouragement for you. God has set you up to overcome everything that has been set against you. Discouragement can only operate where it is given permission, and every bit of that license is now revoked in the powerful name of Jesus. Never again will those nagging voices of doubt and depression and defeat have open access to your spirit. From now on you live off limits to the all the influence and tyranny of hell.
If you resolve one thing this new year, let it be to listen only to God’s testimony of who you are, what your life is about, and what the outcome of all you undertake will be - in him.
Truth! I choose to be zealous for good deeds more each day, stoking the flame of desire for God’s will in my life. I want a strong desire! I expect my heavenly Father to inhabit my life as i speak His words and seek Him with whole heart. I begin now to conquer all fears and depressions by the blood of Christ. Sin will not trip me, distractions will not delay me, and encouragement will rise in my life… in Christ’s uniquely powerful name. God bless you, Glen.

I am on the otherside of the Cross. The old was buried at Jesus’ feet. Sin has been overcome! It is not I who live - but Christ who lives within me. Faith in the son of God who has liberated me from the enemy, conquered death and filled me with everlasting life! I am walking in dudamis power - the surpassing greatness of his power which is in us and for us! Look around - the Kingdom of God is near you and in your heart! 2008 is the year of a love offensive! 2008 is the Year of the Witness! Jesus will exclaim - “I have witnesses of mine that will be witnessed!”
