God forgave David for betraying one of his most loyal honorable soldiers to death and sleeping with his wife, then God named his kingdom after David. Jesus told the woman caught in adultery “Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.” Jesus restored Peter after Peter denied knowing Jesus, and chose Peter to preach the message of Pentecost. Jesus appeared visibly to the most powerful enemy of the church (Saul), brought him to repentance, commissioned him with mighty signs and wonders to be the Paul the apostle of the gentiles, and allowed him to write 2/3 of the New Testament.
There is nothing you’ve done that can separate you from Jesus if you cry out to him with a sincerely repentant heart.
Love truly covers over a multitude of sins. Love doesn’t sweep them under the rug or wink and look the other way. Love hangs on a torture-spectacle cross and absorbs every one of those sins so they can be eternally obliterated and powerless to control people who confess them. Love rips prison doors open. Love rips gravestones off of graves and calls the dead to life.
So now…no matter if you’re near or far…let that Love overwhelm you beyond anything you’ve ever experienced.

you mean glen, that there’s no “10-steps” to becoming a more “godly” person?
That’s exactly it. Good news that takes you somewhere only God can go. Anyone can tell you “it’s all good,” and anyone can give you 10 steps.. The gospel Jesus preached was on a completely different level: “What a word! and with power.”
Now there is promotion available in God, there is more glory available, there is growth in grace. We just need to move beyond the mindset where promotion means moving from really bad to less bad. Promotion means how much you can know and believe of the love God has for you - because that is the measure of the love you are allowed to impact the lives of others with.

While I know I’ve been forgiven, I still have the hardest time letting it go. I needed this.
Awesome awesome awesome. This is what we need to be empowered to speak and demonstrate. Satan (which really just means “accuser”) has so many people hoodwinked into thinking they could never be totally forgiven, totally free, totally loved by God.
The witness of the love of God resonates so loud and pure and true from a people who have really experienced this and know it. Father has chosen the incredibly vulnerable, naked, dynamic medium of the human heart to write himself on. It’s time to contend like never before for that territory - where those redeemed by the Lord get to live feeling redeemed, feeling free, feeling cleansed from everything unrighteous, from everything unlike God that ever touched them or wronged them or influenced them or deceived them or rubbed off on them.
This moment in time is where you get to never be condemned again.
