That's exactly why we don't love even our children with human love. There is a higher realm available to us - we are called to love others just as Christ loved us. The love of Christ is so far above what man can work up - only the Holy Spirit can produce divine love in our lives. I want to ask this: Father won't ever allow himself to relate to me outside of his passion, his everlasting love - why should I ever allow myself to try to relate to him outside of that passion and that love?
