Love actually fulfills the law. In other words, a life which is fully and completely given over to loving your God with all your heart-soul-mind-strength and loving your neighbor as yourself will be a pure and righteous life that completely satisfies God. Is this love superhuman and idealistic? It is supernatural; because this love is only possible by the operation of the Holy Spirit (it’s the first fruit of the Spirit).

Yet it is realistic; because God promises to perform it in our lives if we abide in Him. His love is actually perfected in us! Not that God’s love needs any polishing up, but that its completion is seen in the lives of those who it gave birth to at the cross of Calvary.
