I visit you site regularly, I’ve been a long time soul junk fan, but this is my first time posting.
I have been through the ringer lately. I feel satans temptation more now than I ever have, and at times i’m weak and give into temptation. My sins have alienated me from my closest friends. It’s made me rely on God alone. It’s so hard and painful. This section of pure is giving me hope. Knowing that God is disciplining me to make me stronger.
Christianity is not an easy religion.
There is so much going on in my head right now… it’s hard to explain it all… especially over a blog, but thanks for allowing me a place to get even this little bit out.
right now in Jesus’ blood you’ve got divine strength to resist that lying thing. temptation only operates in the dark, and as soon as you confess it and get the light of the Spirit shining on it – it’s exposed and powerless. you go completely free.
satan may be a master of intimidation, but he cannot stand up to what God’s put on the inside of you. now you pull as close to God as you’ve ever been, & out of that you have all you need to resist the devil until he gives up on this. what’s even better is Jesus will show you how easy it is to live following the Holy Ghost around – way easier than that foul old taskmaster of sin. The way of the transgressor is HARD; but Jesus’ yoke (service) is easy, and his burden is light.
