Maybe Paul is judging his natural man with all of its self righteousness, openly counting it as nothing so that he can be counted. Paul was a sinner, but he got knocked off his horse and shown the Light of Truth so that it temporarily blinded him. May we all have such an experiance so as to be brought low and built up again in subjection to Him. If the old creation is leveled to the gound (our damned self-righteousness with it, good riddance), we are free to take His abundant life and experience a joy unspeakable and full of GLORY.
