do it well

I’ve bumped up into people trying to be blasphemous, people who’ve let themselves get so far under perversion and can’t really find a way out. Much of what comes out of their mouth is anti-God; really it’s anti-knowledge of God. It hasn’t been able to experience God, so it attempts to mock anything it hears about the possibility of experiencing God.

I’ve had the opportunity to speak to many of these people one-on-one, and it’s a lot different than you’d imagine. Really most of them will admit they’re very confused spiritually. Speaking out against God is their way of venting frustration.

They’re able to vocalize (even at the top of their lungs) what what they’ve experienced to be unreal, but they have very little when it comes to what’s real. Most of what they’ll give you in terms of what’s real to them is darkness, bitterness, sadness, emptiness, hatred, abuse, betrayal; because sadly it’s all they’ve really experienced.

The truth is most of what passes for arrogant blasphemy these days is really just mocking. Films mock Jesus, bands mock the Holy Ghost, writers mock the Father; and the spirit of the age attempts to string all this together to mock the knowledge of God among those who’ve really experienced him or have a sincere desire to. I’ve seen many believers start to take on this influence because it is so pervasive around them; but I’ve also seen the Spirit of God waking believers up to it in a big way.

The burning need for the day is for those who deeply know and experience God to be able to speak and act out of that love, out of that experience. It’s not an issue of protesting or condemning anybody or anything; nor is it about the tide of opinion or politics.

Many who are stuck in mockery now will be set free as soon as they get a taste of who God really is. They mock the impossibility of what they really deeply want, and as soon as they figure out how possible God has made true connection with him - that arrogant blasphemous thing that’s smothered them suddenly releases and has no right to ever oppress them again.

What God wants is that this ignorance be exposed with something simple: doing well. There’s no need to attack, shout back, threaten, judge or manipulate. God wants his reality to radiate out of you and me just like it radiated out of Jesus; in terms of pure supernaturally effective and inexhaustible love.
