So…taking a giant’s head off with a slingshot was the answer to stalemate in 1000 BC.

Today it’s much simpler. The giant’s head is off and everything he’s taken from anybody is fair game. Christ came with the breakthrough, and “this is my body, broken for you” pretty much settles it. That broken body is the new and living way that is now open for anybody who truly wants to come in and experience God.

Last night someone brought a baby to church who had been born with no iris in either eye. She’d been prayed for at church 2 weeks ago right before going in for surgery. Then when her parents took her in for surgery, the surgeon saw an iris in both eyes that had not existed before. The surgeon’s boss came in and witnessed the same thing.

It’s all about Jesus Christ and the faith that is in his name. Here in 2007 God is working creative miracles, so let the word go out loud and clear that anything you want in God is yours. If you are battling with habitual sin, ask and you will receive. If you have sickness or disease in your body, ask and you will receive. If you are stuck in a stale intellectual metaphysical relationship with Jesus constantly wanting to experience him but unable to, ask and you will receive.

It’s time that someone point out that they’ve got the corpse of Goliath propped up with a big stick. You can either tremble in your boots, or walk up and give the thing a gentle push. Look close >> there’s a hole in its frankenstein head.
