   Was there a Gospel Plasma series? The one I attended was in September 2000.

   I lost my headphones at the first show. I do not forget. Never. Some kid is STILL jamming out on those headphones.

   my first soul junk show ever was at the gospel plasma in philly at circle of hope church. daniel smith was wearing a really funny outfit, playing tamborine while soul-junk changed my life.

   Gosh, i don’t know if it was Gospel Plasma or not. Not sure what that is.(?) The show was in the basement of a Lutheran church in Woodbury NJ, and is featured in a couple scenes of “Danielson, A Family Movie.” It’s like March/April of 2002, and this same 4-band line-up (Sufjan wasn’t playing–he was “just” a member of Danielson this time) had played the night before at the Knitting Factory in NYC. I wish that Lenny and other Danielson folks could’ve been in this shot too. Hooray for good times like these!
