   Enosh = Mortal
   Kenan = Sorrow;
   Mahalalel = The Blessed God
   Jared = Shall come down
   Enoch = Teaching
   Methuselah = His death shall bring
   Lamech = The Despairing
   Noah = Rest, or comfort.
