The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding…says the Holy Ghost in Proverbs 9:10. There is a place of being fascinated with God; how he moves and speaks. The word he speaks has faith bound up in it, has life bound up in it. So when God says “Be holy just as I am holy,” he is doing much more than throwing a vague unrealizable ideal in front of us - he is speaking life into the dead! The time is coming and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of Man, and those that hear will live. Now…Today…hear that voice and immediately mix it with faith. Hear his call into the knowledge of the holy as dynamic and personal.

The time for our focus being on how we’re trying to reach out to God is past. He now reaches out to us. Our methods, our ideals, our attempts, our failings - these completely pale and fade as we gaze on Jesus, sent directly from the Father…full of grace and full of truth. Our efforts are irrelevant, but our surrender and cooperation is everything to him. Men constantly speak of inching their way out of darkness into light, while God testifies that he has translated us out of the realm of darkness over into the Kingdom of his Son. God speaks of a light that cannot in any way be overcome by darkness, a light in which there is no part dark. Today his call is clearer than ever that we walk in the light as he is in the light.

So as you take this in; rise….shine….your Light has come. The glory of the Father rises on you - so let it be seen on you.

Your way of living in the authority of the Spirit, living life to the fullest, and beeing truly uniquly creative is so inspiring. I met you once, just to take a picture with you. I think it was the DP festival in 2002 (Blaker, Norway). Lately I have become so into what you are doing again, and would so much like to get in touch with you.

If you can spare some time now and then for e-mail correspondance (or snailmail), it would mean so much to me.
